I originally wanted to take the Shapton Glass 320. But I came across the YouTube channel Kniveandtools, where the channel manager claims that Skerper Glass stones have nothing to envy to Shapton Glass. Ok, I'll take your word for it, even though there is no notice yet. I decided to give it a try. Very badly took me. I have Suhero Cerax, Naniwa pro, Kitayama, Arkansas. I am not a novice. I've never had a stone that makes so much mud. The feeling is bad. If you have Naniwa pro, you will understand me. It removes almost as much material as my Naniwa pro 800. It is not a 400. I would say a 600-700. I regret. I lost € 27. An advice. Add 13 € and buy the Shapton Glass 320. It's a safe bet. I really like K&T but for the moment, very disappointed.

It is unfortunate that this sharpening stone is not as expected. We are convinced of the quality of the products we sell and have had a good experience with these sharpening stones. The Skerper Glass Stones are not directly comparable to the Shapton Glass Stones. The price is calculated accordingly. However, they can be used with the same splash and go principle that makes them different from traditional Japanese waterstones. We will contact you to find a solution.
